sustainable, and joyful future.
From our thought-provoking events to impactful storytelling, we provide a platform that helps people explore the
most pressing challenges of society — and inspires them to be part of the solution. We focus on amplifying bold,
transformative ideas across three pillars: reimagining the future, accelerating equity and justice, and
inspiring meaningful climate and social action.
Whether through stage talks, community dialogue, or digital engagement, TEDxMinna brings people together to
shape a new narrative for our world.
6 years ago, we wanted to bring the TED experience to Minna. TEDxMinna began as a non-profit platform to amplify underrepresented ideas and voices.
Our aim? To capture the essence of Minna with its unique communities and histories that spark innovative ideas and share important stories. We wanted to share ideas that could create real change.
We became a hub for sharing ideas and creating impactful events. At TEDxMinna Beyond Borders, we reimagined what a just, innovative, and prosperous future looked like. We launched TEDxMinnaWomen in 2019, where we created a safe and inclusive space to explore the intersections of gender. And we dove into addressing the climate crisis through our podcast, Climate Curious in 2020, and event, TEDxMinna Countdown in 2023.
The impact was profound: with over 135 talks and millions of video views. We saw how we could make real change.
So, what's next? We've realized that being uncompromising about our values is not only central to what we do but also gives us hope to create a better Minna and a better world. We remain deeply committed to embedding justice and equity across everything we do. We recognize the magnitude of the challenges we face cannot be addressed by staying in silos or separated communities. That's why 2025, we've brought our communities together to unleash the transformational power of ideas and stories.
